KRISTEN A. FOX
ARCHITECTURE + FINE ART

My work is an exploration of layers, both literally and figuratively. There are very few paintings or drawings that I create that employ only one type of media.
Mostly figural, my paintings examine themes of the individual versus collective, natural versus urban environments, and the role of myself and other women in contemporary society, inspecting the roles that are created for us and those we create for ourselves.
